For centuries a great and rich country like India has been robbed many a time by foreign invaders. And this is mostly because they have been helped by traitors from within our country. Such traitors are present even now. These who play to the tunes of our enemy counties and try to destabilize India. Their aim is to weaken our country by creating communal riots, misleading the youth and destroying the economy of the country. Their game is that they are rewarded handsomely by the enemy countries and they carry out the clandestine work with the power of money. To fight such traitors and terrorism in the country Senior Superintendent of Police Amar is entrusted with the work. Amar is the same child whose happy childhood was marred by the traitor-Goga. He grew up like and orphan with a child friend Shalu. Shafi uncle took away Shalu from his life to make a man of steel out of Him. Shalu lands into the hands of a "Tawaif" who brings her up as Champabai. She becomes the heart throb of Brijbhan and is kept in his captivity.

Amar's first task is to catch Goga in order to settle old scores and thus he must find out about Goga's son Brijbhan. The other track in the story is of two rival gang leaders, namely Karim and Hariharan. Karim has a huge muslim following and Hariharan has a mammoth Hindu following. Amar befriends them to erase enimity between them but they remain at loggerheads with each other. Brijbhajan after the death of his father Goga in Police Custody, wants to create havoc in the country through communal riots and also teach Karim a lesson who had rescued Shalu (Champabai) from his captivity. By the help of a dashing beauty Salma, he gets Karim framed into a murder case and induces him to suspect Hariharan from being framed. Earlier Hariharan had inflicted heavy losses to Brijbhajan's friend Deshpande.

On the other side, Amar is getting closer to the culprits and in rage shoots Deshpande and his men at the point blank range.
Amar surrenders himself and is awarded death penalty. Karim and Hariharan, who have great respect for Amar and for his happiness, dissolve their enimity and pledge to work together for the country and to bring the guilty to task. The story takes a turn when Amar in police custody, has a re-union with his lost mother, brother and a sister. Brijbhan cannot faid a better way to take out his old revenge on Amar and tortures Amar's family members. The arrival of Karim and Hariharan wipe out the army of Brijbhan but not before maximum damage has been done-Munni Amar's sister, becomes insance and Amar's mother and brother are wished away by Brijbhan. Fate has its own way of bringing old childhood friends Amar and Shalu face to face. These lovers passed half their lives remembering each other and now they are finally united-even if momentarily. Before Amar is taken to the gallows, he maks a dramatic escape to complete the unfinished work. In the climax it is Amar, aided by Karim and Hariharan, who together play havoc with the lives of Brijbhan and his army and bring their empire crashing down to earth. Every feat is achieved by some sacrifice and in this case the sacrifice was too big.
